with the safety of our current capital not improving will creating a new capital from scratch be a good idea moving forward,
Nigeria was having problems with Lagos and created Abuja from scratch, so did Brazil,
would it be a good plan due to safety concerns of our politicians and being indebted to foreign troops protecting our federal government?

especially if it focused on security like say how Israel secures its settlements, so everyone coming in and out is known, can be seen from miles away by security and there are weapon restricted entry checkpoints,

just look at how safe Denis inauguration was saxib I was just watching how Israel uses its architecture in their settlements, basically no one can come in without going passed their checkpoints infact they made man made hills where security can see anyone coming from 100 miles, crazy bridges and the best border, if we do the same and you need disarmament to enter the city, alshabab no longer has influence on our politics, plus if we located it in the peaceful north i.e. near the puntland Somaliland border, those who won't be named down south can't affect anything.

I think it might help reduce attacks on government workers and officials but at the same time, the forces of evil dont really care, they thrive on killing innocent people. It’s too big a city and pretty much uncontrollable other than a few blocks, I was thinking once we have a stable new capital built with security in mind, then they can focus on eliminating alshabab by creating a bigger army and trying to eliminate them city by city in the south and having heavy military presence there

The problem is where is this new capital. A capital with peace, infrastructure and population is very rare. Hargeysa Burco and Boorame is not going to happen. Garoowe and Bosaaso is also very doubtful pl has enough problem with terrorist they don't need more. Secondly the hawiye will never allow that, any clan would deny this idea the capital has to much prestige.

But in general i agree with you muqdisho is hopeless althoug it was (till 1991) the most beautiful somali city ever in my oponion.

The capital will always be mogadishu because it has the capital, the infrastructure and the strategic position.
