Whole of Darood clans got 15. It's impossible for Dir to get even half of that. Something is wrong with your list.

Jidwaaq are heavyweights in DDSI affairs and they're the culprits behind the sacking of Abdi iley. Their numbers are almost a million in the region. Don't underestimate them.

The biggest snub is clearly to Garxajis. They got completely ignored along with potentially Gadabursi (unless you are right about the Abdiwali guy) and Dhulos.

This. Nothing to do with being politically savvy . Once elections happen in 2020 though all those small Darood sub clans will be in trouble as they will struggle to produce MPs nevermind ministers.
