That's a fascinating perspective. How many of them gaalo have you personally engaged with in real life to get an in depth understanding of their views and why they think the way they do? I'm quite interested in finding out.

I’ve never met any, I like to think of myself as an open minded person, but when comes to apostates, I can never understand their point of view. It’s like they heard Islam as Chinese whispers, or were taught Islam in the jungle. Never will I ever understand why people leave Islam.

my biggest problem with ex muslim somalis is that when they leave the deen they viciously attack our culture and religion, if you're the type of apostate that doesnt attack the deen and culture of somalis or try to deconvert somalis out of islam then i have no issue with you, if you do all 3 then you're the enemy of somalis and should stay away from the somali community

I promise, I didn’t. I’ve never heard you stop becoming your ethnicity when you leave a religion. It’s a new concept I picked up on Somalispot. If we’re honest, the connection isn’t there anyway. I feel that belonging to my family. Beyond that, what I feel for Somalis is a desire to see them do better. It’s a deeply flawed culture. That’s not going to change in my lifetime.

I tend to see a lot more posts about us complaining about apostates than them shitting on us online.

There are probably 10 posts just on somalispot for every one of their posts all over the internet.

It's maybe some of us who have an obsession over them.

Just see them as a minority in our society and ignore them. We can't kick out every alternative culture or we'd end up stagnant as a people.

Yh i don't see the point in it either, i talk to many of them online and much rather debate with them or just leave them be when i see that they aren't the debating type. I still would like to know what alternative they found to islam if they are deist or atheist.

Well, I do agree with neo-darwinism or what they call the modern synthesis of evolution, which is that diversity of flora and fauna arose by adaptation from a less differentiated ancestry.

What you're asking is probably what particular philosophy or metaphysical disposition determines my outlook on life, right? I don't see myself subscribing to a particular ideology tbh. I'm just a wanderer, passing through the labyrinth of this bold, terrifying and beautiful existence.

It saddens me to see a somali gaalo because I really want them to be in heaven, I will always be good to them and treat them with the utmost respect in hopes that maybe one day they will return to us again
