I think people call you black, and then you're black to them. So in that sense, to them you're black anyway. Saying you're not, won't stop them from thinking you're black.

Just because two countries decided to refer to their land as the land of Blacks, does not mean me or other Somalis should refer to ourselves as black. You clearly need other opinions to identify yourself as something.
