Egypt should just focus on industry and services, in the future they'll only have enough water for drinking, showering, and maybe a few parks/golf courses.
It is easier said than done. Despite its desert landscape, Egypt's population mostly live in rural areas along the Nile river. That's around 60 million people. If irrigation collapses, it might be the end of Egypt as we know it.

You're right but if they get their shit together soon the damage will be less severe.
