Ogadenia/DDS/Somali Galbeed

id really like to know how my fellow somali weyne snd locals feel about this currently occupied land. As we all know there was numerous attempts to free our lands from wslf, onlf and the 1977 Ogaden war but things sadly didnt go our way. The most latest attempts was with ONLF but they were ultimately broken by first the ones closest to them living in somali galbeed working for abdi iley and liyu police and secondly by somali weyne by them being handed back to xabesh while seeking refuge in other skmali lands. I question my self everyday , is this how we are going to give up ? Our natural resources, our billion dollars of oil, us being taxed in our lands by ajnabi? Is this what we are letting our fate be? Even the yesterday noble ONLF who had thousands shed blood for the noble cause betrayed us all and ended up becoming a POLITICAL PARTY in Ethiopia
My main question is , whats the new generations plans or goals? Do we even have any?

whats even more crazy to me is , we have a actual strong case if we took the matter to high international courts.. we are different ethnicity when the rest of country of ethiopia is xabesh, we are different religion , and we were forced into there country by colonists amidst us fighting to become independent or joining somalia… we have all points needed in court to make a case for independence or joining another state yet NOBODY e

Somalis in the region have abandoned Harar/Dhiri Dhaba. And is now abandoning Jigjiga and DDS in droves for Djibouti/Somalia and Kenya. The opposite should be encouraged. Anyone from DDS in Somalia/Djibouti should be returned.

absolutely, but.. life in the region is getting harder especially as the rest of ethiopia is starting to crumble. The best option now is for a new urur/group to be created similar to onlf and for all liyu police to put down the military dressings they have on.. then a calling for all somalis from the region and those who would wish to help to come and the rest should be history

Thats why I am always supporting a strong somali state, without them ogaden galbeed is gonna be pretty hard to seek independance. ATM the problems we have is a bad leader, too much ethiopian influence and too much ethiopians settlers with the goal to displace somalis. Change will happen though, and very soon. I mean on the good side at least the region is developing some what.

we do we have lots of evidence but thats what ethiopia is so desperately trying to diminsh right now. something has got to happen in the next few years. the entire agreement giving ogaden to ethiopia is completely void, even the british know. We need a strong somali state, and we need freedom from all the stupid stooges that keep being appointed.

Ethiopia never even had real control of the region, its basically autonomous.

IDK whats up with the leadership, I have my suspicions about that cagjar dude like what is his real intetions, who is he really and what do they have against him. Just looking at his twitter page the way he acts is very straight. What cuases this level of deranged coonery. well the influence of xabesh in our state will only get worst with time, we see some dhaantos with ethiopian flags waving and some of the locals boasting about being “a proud ethiopian” we even see specifically some ogadens boasting about how they have “3 flags” or sadex calanle yan ahay which is tbh something to be ashamed of..

also ONLF as of i think it was 2018 went from being s freedom fighting group and signed a peace treaty with abiy which also made them a political party in the region, and as we all know the region is under ethiopia which makes them a political party in the somali state of “ethiopia”.. but hich is very sad balentu wuxu aha geeri ama guul wnd i the thousands who died for the cause must be rolling in there graves..

Lastly , i dont believe we need a strong somali state today because that only makes Ethiopia as a whole stronger.. the somali state is the only state in ethiopia today which 100% falls under ethiopia while the rest are fighting… and mustaf cagjar or abdi iley or any person who becomes president of the state will always be a lap dog for whoevers in charge if ethiopia .. we dont pick out ptesidents the xabesh pick whoever suits them best..
