OLF can not compare to the struggle that was the insurgencies in SR namely the ONLF. They are gaining notoriety again because they are the only ones currently who broke the peace prior to elections albeit they had little choice.

The whole concept of state forces and Liyu came from the chaos of SR pre-07 and the ONLF attack on the to be oil field. ONLF has killed more Ethiopian troops in a a couple attacks then the entire casualty rate of the Ethiopian army that invaded Somalia which was around 200 for the whole conflict.

Moyaale, Baabile, and all over the rest of Ogadenia is riddled with death its only the Dire Dhabe faux Somalis and the deeper interior Somalis under Ogaden who put up no fight since 77.

I am not anti-ICU thats the reported number I remember it doesnt really have much to do with my point though but if you can show me even one sided reports of Somali news claiming drastically higher then that I will take it.
