I don't really think there are any differences between Somalis regardless of location. I blame living in huge cities where impoverished refugees have absolutely no chance to get out of the hood.

When the median home value is half a mill in Toronto, let alone a place like London, people are gonna be stuck in shitty neighborhoods where your kids will inevitably turn into their neighbors.

Sxb somalis don't understand the housing system in the west. Nobody has half a mill in the bank for a house. Housing in Canada and London is more expensive then many places in the states. Therefore a house here is an investment as opposed to a "home". You put down 30k one time, then you live there and pay until property value increases and you get a high ROI(return on investment), then you flip your property and it's on to the next one. If you do this while your kids are growing, it keeps them out of the hood until you want to settle down and pay off a mortgage

A 3 bedroom home with 2 garages, a fence and a backyard is just being sold by my coworker for 87k bc he is moving to FL. It's located in Galloway, Ohio, which is a Columbus suburb. Go google it and checkout the neighborhood I'm talking abt.

That's why that I am set to buy a house February next year Inshalah. Just need to put down $15k. That's now my American Dream. A house of my own where I can decorate it however I want and where I can have this huge grill to roast hilib

When it comes to mortgages there's a legitimate disagreement among the scholars. When there's a disagreement we can choose to follow either/or. Many scholars who are aware of the need for mortgages and student loans have deemed them permissible due to necessity(daruuriyaat). Sxb somalis don't understand Islam at all, wallahi. Besides, you do realize that academics are not all abt your comprehension of the English language. If niggaz lack in the English department they usually are gifted in Math and on top of that they usually can get tutors for their English problem.
