Do you know any Somali families who have one child (purposely) and decide not to have anymore? I've seen families who stop at 2 children.
Makes sense. They got whatever they wanted.yes and that one child is spoiled
Interesting.Yes and the child is always either a genius or a crackhead no inbetween
Yes it doesn’t matter. The parents always overlook everything since they only have one kid OR they push the child to an extreme so the kid becomes a genius.Makes sense. They got whatever they wanted.
Interesting.
Might I clarify, the couple are married. I’m not referring to a single parent situation.
I’ve seen families with many children (5+) who are also entitled.Yes. They had 2 kids and they were entitled little b*tches.
it would be so depressing to be an only child, sitting in your room, the only person to talk to is your parentsDo you know any Somali families who have one child (purposely) and decide not to have anymore? I've seen families who stop at 2 children.
That can still happen even with siblings.it would be so depressing to be an only child, sitting in your room, the only person to talk to is your parents
ye but with siblings you have the choice to not talk to nobody. Being an only child would suck because you are forced to be alone for your childhood homelifeThat can still happen even with siblings.
That’s true. It would be isolating.ye but with siblings you have the choice to not talk to nobody. Being an only child would suck because you are forced to be alone for your childhood homelife

I agree, if you insist on minimal children then 2 children is best.I Grew up with 11 siblings each with a different character and looks. The more kids in the house the more interesting the house will be and your children won’t end up being xaasid because they constantly have to share things. You’ll make that child’s life depressing if you left him with no siblings. If his parents die he will no longer have any family.
4 is the max and I want them to be one year apart so won’t have to worry about them in the futureI agree, if you insist on minimal children then 2 children is best.
It has been proven many times in either competitive sports, academics, or arts that the younger sibling often surpass their older sibling because they have someone to compete against and work with.
Also, it’s just less lonely. What happens when you and your spouse aren’t at home and they are? They’ll just be all alone, most likely they’ll be on the internet doing god knows what.
Having 1 child may seem efficient, but it’s really not that fair to your kid when you could have potentially gave them a better life if they had an older or younger sibling.
