Beautiful house, one thing though I wish the designers would take into account sitting on the floor, because then for example you can have a layered living room with the people on the floor which promotes movement, and the older people on the sofa. It looks impressive and can be implemented even in smaller houses
Also would be nice idea if the windows slid open on the inside, and on the outside are sleek wood carved "window" covers like was traditionally made, but you can maybe have more geometric rather than arabesque designs. like these things
Enriching the rich homes with dhaqan is always the route to go because these well designed homes act as a base for other common houses to be built on, so try and show off a design language that has it

That's a nice looking house but why is it so wall'd in? When did we start in closing house like this? I think if gone get a house in Somali at least let me have 15 acres of land on it also. I wouldn't mind driving into town 20 minutes each day
The house was built in 2018 in Kaxda district which was pretty much countryside during that time. A testament to how much the city grew in that time.

Honestly all the progress of Somalia has come from mostly the people back home.
The diaspora is very vocal about their ideals and how they wish to change Somalia in their vision but nothing comes from it. However some random abti in a streak of genius will enact the change. Despite having no formal education or outside/bird eye perspective of the situation they are the majority driving force of all progress.

It’s a win-win situation, it’s not a competition whether a diaspora Somali or a Somali back home does well
