I never said it wasn't expected. It is just that usually a lot of other ethnic groups in Ethiopia do look a little different to us. Sure, we all still look similar but we can generally spot one from another. Oromos are the only one in my experience that I have real difficulty differentiating from us.

oh, then i agree , normally I can pin point a Somali anywhere but Oromo’s are the only ones who consistently get me confused, but I do recall coming across a hijabi Eritrean on my fyp once, I really thought she was Somali. also a bunch of Oromos are assimilated Somalis, that explains a lot of them are hard to differentiate from us, i can easily tell the difference when it comes to purer oromo’s.

Oromos are in Hargeisa and all over Somaliland. Yes, they come through the Ethiopian border, but I don’t think you have any grounds to claim that Somaliland wants to ethnically cleanse the Samaroon by using Oromos, especially when Oromos are already well integrated and present throughout Somaliland.
