I understand people’s concern about illegal immigrants from groups like Oromos who have always been a concern for unfortunately hundreds of years due to their expansionist culture. We have qabils that were once Somali that are now under Afan Oromo, therefore this resentment and fear towards them isn’t new, but I fear we are going down a dark territory when we generalize all of them and act like citizens have the right to take things into their own hands. How is this sentiment that different to cadaans reading about Muslim grooming gangs or Somali criminals committing atrocities in their cities and then generalizing all of us? I’m suspicious of all hard core anti immigrant stances as it’s a tool used by the elites and those in politics to whip up a storm of anxiousness that turns people away from issues that are being masked. I don’t deny that something needs to be done but it has to be done by humane, Sharia complaint legal means that isn’t laced with racism and extreme hatred and generalization.

I’ve seen videos of Oromo Islaamo being spat at and a maid being abused. I have to be fair here and I try to not generalize people and tarring them under one brush.

I've seen multiple videos of them taking jobs that belong to the children and poor people. For instance there are Somali children that clean kabu to make extra money for them to pay for stuff. These oroms are taking these jobs by force. For instance this child stated they were held by knife point and told you can't work this location by orom gangs. Somali first in Somali states. We don't want them no Somali in Somalia or Somali region wants them. They are expansionest they will state we are leaving and heading to yemen.if that is true why are they no leave out of Djibouti which is 1hr boat ride to Yemen? Yes, I agree that Puntland failed in security in terms of stopping ISIS much sooner. And yes Mumin is from one of the local clans and he has received help from some of the local people. But you still can't deny that most of his fighters are foreigners including Oromos. Why has he recruited foreigners?
Because the vast vast majority of reer PL do not support ISIS or kebab. Because of this, both terror groups have almost always recruited non PL people to carry out terror attacks in PL. I can list you all the terror attacks in Puntland and I can prove to you they were committed by non Puntlanders. Puntland is peaceful compared to other parts of Somalia due to its people overwhelmingly rejecting the khawaji ideology. And people can deny this all they want cause the truth hurts.
