I don't mean that she should get a cabinet post. However, just like in the US, our phd holding professor of economics first lady should hold a highly visible position in our society by advocating for a specific cause.

All you have to do is look up U.N's gender based violence stats. Their last full report stated Banadir/Middle Shabelle had the highest rape statistics. As most rapes in Somalia occur in IDP camps and Mogadishu area has the highest amount of displaced people, it is to be expected.

I haven't looked up Somaliland statistics, but I'm sure you can find them. That's where LasAnod's rape stats will be calculated.

horn african countries kenya, ethiopia, djibouti, somaliland etc had established forensic capabilities years ago.

i agree lack of institutional capacities of the governments are providing loopholes for criminals.

its imperative to move fast and stay ahead in the game
