Paranormal activity in Somalia

how common is s’hr and j’nn activity in Somalia?

Like I’ve seen sheikhs who do ruqya on groups of ’possessed’ people on somali tiktok, but it feels weird. How are there so many of them, is this now a business 😂 is it make-believe, are they all just mentally ill or there’s just an unusual amount of paranormal activity in 3rd world countries

Remote areas have alot of jnns, so do places where there’s alot of sihr practiced. Maybe that’s why possessions are so common there

Which is very scary because when did it become normal to do s’hr amongst somalis ? 💀 I thought the average somall was too scared and to godfearing to even go near any of that. But then again post-91 every other major sin has been normalised and they’re a people full of hasad (envy), which is usually what drives people to resort to that nonsense

Stop trying to normalise sihr in our society when we all damn well know it isnt common.

I’ve heard stories of a man taken by jins to a beautiful castle at night, only to wake up the next morning surrounded by qashin.

There’s also the story of someone attending a wedding at night where the guests appeared to be normal humans, but had hooves instead of feet. The latter is probably a copy of the original story about the Kuwaiti singer who performed at a jinn wedding, retold as a Somali story.
