You’re acting like we are wrong. The Somali republic is the union of two countries and when that union happened coups changing of the constitution and all other underhanded tactics were used. That union is now dead. A tribe called dhulbahante didn’t join somalia a country called somaliland with a prime minister called cigaal join Somalia. Dhulbahante are somalilander and have their rights to have their say within somaliland with the rest of somalilanders.
The president of Somalia is darood. Dhulbahante are darood if they want to leave somaliland and join somalia that is a negotiation between the president of somaliland and the president of Somalia.
All of this could be solved with a border redraw but somalia doesn’t want to compromise. America and Russia have nukes pointed at each other that is what makes them respect each other. Look how America treats the rest of the world. We have a simple policy with somalia if your not willing to negotiate we are happy to have a never ending war. The government will lose its recognition again and we’ll be back to square one. The simple fact is the longer you stand in front of Somaliland the longer Somalia won’t get back onto its feet we are happy for mutual destruction.
It would be wise for farmajo to negiotiate now because he has three years left and we'll probably have another 2 hawiye terms. Someone will negotiate to get out of this situation and if it’s a hawiye they will want dhulbahante and warsangeli to go with somaliland to split up the darood votes.

See theres a difference between what you want and reality, and the reality is you guys dont resemble anything that looks like a country not even close. You don't meet the qualifications needed in order to convince the international community to recognize you. Theres no infusture, your economy runs on khat, aid money and money from the diaspora. If Somaliland were to ever undergo serious independence negotiations with Somalia, it would be be a no-brainer for a Darood President of Somalia to sign the divorce papers provided we give up our claims to Harti lands in eastern SSC.
