Just imagine , ethiopia breaks up into several pieces and they no longer control the somali region. What would you do? Would you want to join somalia if situation improves or somaliland? I know there will be a war and somalia,puntland and somaliland will be dragged into this war if that ever happens. Djibouti might join. It is going to be a complete mess.

I understand that we have the potential, but I will always target to join Somalia. If the situation is that bad then it is fine. Then it can be independent until Somalia improves and then if it is better to join , then we should definitely join.No cuz. we will have our own independent republic of Ogadenia. Somalia is in a bad state right now not a good Idea to join them.
After we get strong enough we will incorporate Jubbaland and NFD as greater Ogadenia one day inshallah

1. They got diaspora Is delusional to think that's gonna solve all your problems not even to add to the fact 80-90% of the diaspora come from somalia not the ogaden region
2. They have oil/gas and farms No they do not have any of that there is no farms in the ogaden a simple google Earth will show you that as for oil and gas oil is none existent hence why the Ethiopians aren't searching for them and the gas reserve is very small
3. They have Djibouti, Berbera, Bosaso, Mogadishu and Kismayo to choose from.
All these cities you named will gain all the revenue through tax not ogaden region

One clan having 25 seats is too much. Add Jidwaaq Balcad and Weyteen having 15 more seats in parliament and you have 40 seats in parliament just for Absame.
The entire Somalia will belong to Absame and whoever allies with them.

Against it anybody with brain would be small percentages of the ogaden sub clan wants independence the rest of Somalis would either choose Ethiopia or somalia then independence because they would be marginalized if they chose independence
Today the population in that region
Is split between ogaden sub clan who make up half the population and other somalis who make up the other half don't you find it odd only the ogaden who wants independence are fighting against Ethiopia because the other somalis gain nothing from it if anything they lose which is opposite of 77 when nearly all the somalis back then supported somalia because it was in there interest to join somalia
if referendum was held nearly 50% would in favor of joining somalia even today
