If you are an Atheist and you want to be morally consistent you will have to accept these claims.
Everything else can be a cope to deal with these harsh truths but it is the foundation of your worldview.
All we are machines who are on predetermined routes everything you do and will do can be traced back to the big bang.
Even you being ex-Muslim wasn’t your choice you were always going to be ex-Muslim. Every rational argument that you think you made were simply upon the chances that were made 13.8 Billion years ago.
Every time something evil has happened and the person dies before they can get any sort of retribution they got away with it. There is no karma. Every rich CEO thats polluting the planet he will be long dead before he gets to see any of the consequences he will get off scott free.
Every victim of rape that wasn’t taken seriously their rapist got away with it.
All the “Evils” that mankind did there will be no judge for retribution after their death.
Every war criminal and person who took part in destroying Somalia if they never had any justice in life got away with it. Every AS member who blows himself in a crowded place killing dozen innocent people has gotten away with it.
You continue to act altruistic simply because it was evolutionary convenient that sentient creatures form social structures to survive and all sources of morality can be linked back to evolutionary purposes. You don’t think murder is bad because it’s bad? Your genetics made you think that way. As apes who killed each other couldn’t form social groups and got out competed. Anything that cant be explained via evolution is simply a societal quirk which you have been indoctrinated with such as equality, personal freedoms and justice. These don’t exist in reality and are simple social construct that we made to feel good about ourselves.(Even there i pre suppose the idea that “we made it” we didn’t do anything but observe our flesh machines do it. Every argument for the abolitionist movement was upon chances that were made long ago.)
You are as justified about your feminist, anti-racist, egalitarian views as the Nazis were about theirs. Your morals are just as subjective as theirs and what made you have your opinions is simply when and where you was born. Had you been born in nazi germany you would advocate for extermination of the jews and lesser races as much as you advocate for personal freedoms and equality today.
Everything about you, your taste and preferences can be explained via genetic and environmental factors.
Many studies concluded that twins who live completely different lives often share the same interests even the ones split at birth. Adopted children still share stronger traits to their biological parents than their Adopted parents.
At conception your life was already chosen for you. Your risk to taking drugs, chances of your criminality, education level and chances you meet a significant other. You were never consulted about any of the choices and it certainly wasn’t done by a personal all loving god.
This thread is not intended for me making an argument for god but telling you the philosophical conclusion of Atheism.
