Northern Somalia should be for Garhajis & reer Awdal only. I believe in all or nothing.

what many clans in the north fear (Garhajis hegemony returning). It is like how all Ethiopians
fear Amhara return.

You need to make alliances in all honesty. Osman Mahmoud had to relinquish power and form alliances under the umbrella 'mahmoud saleban', it dropped down a level after the kingdom fell, there was no mahmoud saleban back then. It may even drop down further to harti in the future and so forth, political changes unpredictable, how responsive your clan is to the change will determine it's future.
