Pray at the masjid

You will notice a profound difference between praying at home by yourself and going to the masjid for prayer in congregation.

I know that it is difficult for us living in western countries, but praying at least 1 or 2 times daily at the mosque will improve your spiritual state dramatically.

Moreover It is easily discernable, just observe your life and state of mind while praying at home for a week and then make an effort to pray at least Isha or Fajr at the mosque for another week and compare the difference.

One of the things that make it easier is when people know the reward and benefits of praying in congregation in this life and the next.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who purifies (performs Wudu') himself in his house and then walks to one of the houses of Allah (mosque) for performing an obligatory Salat, one step of his will wipe out his sins and another step will elevate his rank (in Jannah)."[Muslim].

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:
The reward of the congregational prayer is twenty seven times greater (than that of the prayer offered by a person alone).Sahih al-Bukhari 649

Buraidah Al-Aslami narrated that :
the Prophet said: "Give glad tiding to those who walk to the Masajid in the dark; of a complete light on the Day of Resurrection."Jami` at-Tirmidhi 223

Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "(A group of) angels stay with you at night and (another group of) angels by daytime, and both groups gather at the time of the 'Asr and Fajr prayers. Then those angels who have stayed with you overnight, ascend (to Heaven) and Allah asks them (about you) ---- and He knows everything about you. "In what state did you leave My slaves?' The angels reply, 'When we left them, they were praying, and when we reached them they were praying.' "Sahih al-Bukhari 7429Sahih al-Bukhari 7429

Muslim (657) narrated that Jundub ibn ‘Abd-Allaah said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays Fajr is under the protection of Allaah, so do not fall short with regard to the rights of Allaah, for anyone who does that, Allaah will seize him and will throw him on his face into the Fire of Hell.”

It was narrated that `Uthman bin `Affan said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:Whoever prays `Isha` in congregation, it will be like spending half the night in prayer (qiyam) and whoever prays `Isha` and Fajr in congregation, it will be like spending the whole night in prayer.`: Musnad Ahmad 491

Praying Fajar and especially Isha in congregation is important. The one who prays Fajar in congregation is under the protection of Allah. May Allah make it easy for us, i struggle a lot with Fajar in congregation...i need to start sleeping early.
