No joke, getting tired of these thinking machines. AGI is the future but I can't help but be annoyed by it. What good is all the knowledge and skills you obtain if AGI comes? Reminds me a lil about this YA book called Scythe, humans living in a utopia being ruled by this Ai called the thunderhead. Idk wallahi just don't want to lose the struggle of obtaining skills. Having problems to solve might truly be the biggest blessing.

AGI will probably kill billions of brains because they got no reason to train it. how many students can't even fathom writing whole essays thanks to chatgpt?
it can be circumvented sure, industrial revolution would have been weakening our muscles by taking the burden off it but it's very easy to train the body and many do. how would we get people to train our minds in a world of infinite scroll content apps and generative AI giving us all the stimulation we need?
i don't think a butlerian jihad would be possible, like a billion people died in the dune novel and that's probably realistic.

Yeah thats why I want a pre-emptive one, by the time the butlerian jihad took place humans were already basically enslaved by the thinking machines.
