Presence of Christianity amongst northern somalis

I’m sorry but those graves don’t show anything that may be linked with Christianity, it also looks incredibly ugly.

I also want to add that there was a bigger chance that we used to have a Jewish community than a Christian community more so.

Somalis most off the time almost know nothing about Jesus Christ and that is also a big indicator

Why are these grown ass men in the comments so immature? It's no surprise that somali Christians exist, acknowledging the existence of previous beliefs doesn't wipe out the entire history of Islam in Somalia. @CALMONE20### you're right, there was even a somali Christian politician in the North.

The simple fact of us being neighbours to one of the most ancient orthodox Christian country on earth is self explanatory, similar how we become one of the first African countries to accept islam due to us being closets neighbours to the Arabian peninsula. Neighbouring countries had always big religious influence on one another, although Christianity didn't widely spread like islam did in Somalia simply dismissing the existence of somali Christian is just braindead.

That's was my opinion on this topic, for source I advise you to do your own research because I can't be bothered. About the somali Christian politician from the 60s, here is a youtube link about him talking against the colonists powers that ruled Somalia during that time.
