Bro Siad made us great and destroyed us at the same time, we done need to speak ill of a deceased man. At the begging of his term he built factories, increased the Somali GDP, helped so many African nations i.e. Zimbabwe, built one of the largest army on the continent, build monuments such as my profile pic Sayyid (Dervish State), hosted and was Head of Au (now they own us), but mid 80's so many people wanted him out of power or tried to take over and he killed them, that's why SL wants independence because he bombed 50,000 isaaq.
The thing that DESTROYED Somalia was the Ogaden War, we wasn't' well equipped, we beat the Ethiopians but should have considered foreign interventions.

They made raxanweyn and bantu slave on their own land while controlling the trade of produce (sorghum, bananas, etc) I don't kno why the fk my ppl didn't karbaash him back then. I know, for some reason all these leaders are obsessed with their clans and they may be for two reasons, A their clan put them in power so they need to repay back to their qabil by accomplish needs by the qabil, B, they are just obsessed by their qabil and think they are better than other qabils.
My qabil has a leader (Ugaas) and Meetings every month but I couldn't give two flying shits.

Somaliland's politicians wrote a check that can't be cashed. Unfortunately, most who started this whole secession enterprise will not be around when the population figures that recognition is not coming even after 30 or 40 years. I wonder how long the mass delusion can continue.
Somaliland will not be recognized because one ethnic group cannot have three seats at the UN, it is that simple. No one will allow some African ethnic group to have 3 UN seats, when groups like the Kurds don't even have 1.

Puntland as state would never work. It is probably the most resource-poor place humans can live in. I doubt whether Puntland will be habitable 40 years from now. It is a total hellhole, and I want my people to have the option to move to Juboyinka in the next decades when the whole thing becomes part of the Sahara.
Somalis should be able to live and work and claim any place in the Somali regions as their home.
Garowe is nice. Let's hope the Garowites bring their urban planning skills to the other parts of the Somali regions. They would be an asset to any other place they move to.
