Tarzan didn't have a choice about the amisom soldiers. Puntland is allowed to have their own army, Mogadishu isn't. Take a look at the outcome of the London conference for this.
I thought you knew, that amisom directly receives the monetary, logistical and diplomatic support that the SNA should have received.
This is why amisom have to leave, because they're occupying not only the country physically, but also directly blocking our troops from standing up for our country.
It's not a coincidence, but a politically strategic move that each amisom soldier earns +10x what an SNA soldier receives. Even though the Somali soldiers need it more and work harder than the animals presently here.
Uganda has MASSIVE public debt levels, the amisom money helps to pay for their yearly presidential and parliamentary expenses, and protects museveni from getting the Ghaddafi treatment as the West wants him gone. Even locals bugandans realized this during the last election.

I feel sorry for Xamar citizens, if the likes of Tarzan is the best they have.
He left his position because of increasing Ethiopian 'S influence in Mogadishu after HSM came to power.
I know him he use to live in London ruunte waa qashin qabyalad ka buuxo but I understand why farmaajo opted for him cause he needs all the help he can get to quell the unukaleh unrest & suicide bombers since he has experience in that field.
I have really questioned tarzan politically at the national stage. I mean the man is great for mogadishu there is no denying that. He is the one who is responsible for the change of mogadishu, no-one but him can take that credit. He inherited a hell hole and started bringing development to it. But I have always been suspicious about his intentions at the national stage. But lets not kid ourselves an mudolood does deserve this position and out of all the mudulood he is the best one by long shot. I think the president made a wise choice considering the options he had.

I just think tarzan is more suited to development especially at the local stage. He just comes across as tribal misfit to me. Some of the things he did to abdillahi yusuf while at london and the things he did at brussells, the man doesn't seem he is capable when at the national stage. But he is very good at looking after his 'tol' so to speak. I would've given him a position in the government that is 'mogadishu' centric like security portfolio. But there is no question he has also done some good things. He was the one who kickstarted the 200k donations to PL after the tsunamy, he came to the PL football tournament. You notice he is good at developmental things. As for Politics I am not sure about it!!! But we will find out now won't we. This is probably the most important position in the government. He is the one in the president ears so to speak!!!!

1. President(depends). Can be weak or strong. It seems a bit equal in this admin. Depends really when the constitution is settled if this position will be prized anymore.
2. Prime minister(depends). Can be weak or strong. It's pretty equal in this admin. Depends really when the constitution is settled if this position will be prized anymore.
3. Advisors of the above. The brains so to speaks of the president n pm. Will always remain powerful. These i call the static powers that won't change.
4. Interior ministry cause it impacts on the whole nation and other ministries. it's power is always going to be around.
5. Finance(decides where money is being allocated). It's power is quite fixed like the interior.
6. Security/defence(speaks for itself). It's very important position. It's power depends on the country security. Can lose importance once country is settled. Doesnt have much power either doesnt name leaders of army/police/intelligence.
7. Foreign(this will be below interior ministry when Somalia is on it's feet in the international arena, but now it doesnt manage much embassies). It's not something i'd put my hand up for.
8. Ministry of constitution. This is only important now will lose relevance once the constitution is settled. Id put this up just below interior minister.
