An unholy alliance between 2 former enemies. A greater threat has forced Deni & Laftagareen to put their differences aside. Deni is trying to prevent himself from being politically cornered & Laftagareen is saving his own skin from being overthrown.

You are underestimating HSM at the same time you fear his uncertainty.

it’s a good idea to keep Damul Jadiid at its feet but having Laftagareen as a close ally is not a good way to go by for future setbacks

Even though I don't support Farmaajo one of his plans was to make Baidoa the capital if he came back for a second term . The Villa and other institutions are ready built just waiting to be moved into. He would've taken Laftagareen to the real SW capital of Barawe.

HShM made a rare visit to Egypt after he took office and somehow injected himself and the government that he leads in a dispute that doesn't concern Somalia. That would be a decision that will haunt him as Ethiopia wouldn't sit down and allow Egypt and others to open a front inside Somalia against Ethiopia.

It seems Laftagareen is building an alliance against the Mogadishu's efforts to unseat him, and if he can secure the support of Deni and Ethiopia, he is on a ground to oppose those who want to unseat him.
