Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Forbade the killing of women and children

Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw a woman who was killed in one of his expeditions, so he disapproved the killing of women and children. Agreed upon.

وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-رَأَى اِمْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ, فَأَنْكَرَ قَتْلَ اَلنِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1‏ .‏

‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه البخاري ( 3014 )‏، ومسلم ( 1774 )‏، وفي رواية لهما أيضا: " فنهى عن قتل النساء والصبيان".‏

I believe this hadith disproves the falsehood of those anti-Islam people who paint Islam in a false and negative light, painting Islam as being barbaric.... look how this hadith shows concern for the protection of women and children- meanwhile, look at what the yahud are doing- are they following that rule?

I believe this hadith also disproves the falsehood of those khawarij who promote harming random innocent people... if it is prohibited to attack women and children then how can it be ok to just attack random people (whether Muslim or non-Muslim)?
