These videos seem to like to cross out Northern Somalia as one of the most strongest possibilities of being Punt.
The frankincense trees depicted in Ancient Egyptian tombs have been attributed to being from Punt. The specific species is the Boswellia Carteri, which is exclusively only found in northern Somalia. Its not just Boswella Carterii but also Frereana grows in Somalia and that is also found Ancient Egyptian tombs. Both of them grow in Northern Somalia. What are the odds that the most native northern species are to be found Egyptian tombs together?

The baboon specimen is far from a slam dunk, because P.Hamadryas is what they found and as you can see it encompasses a much wider area than Sudan & Eritrea.
And Somalia is the only place that they have direct textual evidence that collaborate with Egyptian inscriptions. This needs to be brought to peoples attention.
The significance of punt:
Another possibility is that Punt could encompass a wider region and they could be at times talking about different regions in the south of them and labelling them under the umbrella of Punt.

Dominy et al 2020 was very biased they could've narrowed down the probable location further based on the standardized difference but they were too scared to leave out eritrea and ethiopian highlands. North central somalia was the most probable location for the baboon (literally scored nearly 2x closer than eritrea) but of course in the abstract they have to go "uhmmm we really dont know the land of punt could be anywhere" because they don't want to walk back on the eritrean/ethiopia theory they've been trying to push for ages

i believe punt was between eastern tip of eritrea (where their afar region is) to the eastern coast of somalia on the indian ocean with a capital in mosylon, and it was composed of proto-afar-saho-somali speakers ie lowland east cushites
Im just waiting for more archaeology to come out from the horn to vindicate me
