Puntland begins counterterrorism operation against ISIS and Al-Shabab

We've got international wahhabi terrorists invading our land, and on top of that we have the mooryan "government" in Ugandisho trying hard to block efforts for PL to receive international assistance combating these foreign terrorists. Then we have a few idiots among us who don't have brains to see that and who want to play the subclanism game at a time like this.

A Syrian guy tried to blow himself up on Bosaso last night. It’s clear these guys are pretending to be refugees and PL needs to put an end to allowing them in.

Finally, Puntland has banned undocumented stays, public begging and opening phone lines without ID for foreign nationals.

This may be the true moment of Puntland’s actual birth, not β€˜98. With no government in Somalia to work with, PL is being forced to become a self-sufficient government more and more everyday. It is being forced to behave like an actual nation and not a governorate in everything from security, development to diplomacy. This is an incredible development and I hope PL is forced to continue down this path because I’m sure it’s leadership didn’t really want this.

I don't applaud Puntland Government for this. I am disgusted at how long it took them to recognise all these security issues. Our boys wouldn't have had to die to defend our land, if it was defended from day 1. It's easier to prevent than it is to treat a problem. I am tired of our low standards with these politicians, let's hold their feet to the fire and see if they actually deport these illegal, dangerous terrorists and street pan-handlers.

Finally no more Ethiopians and Yemenis. Deni dalxoreeyo thank you so much :rejoice:

If we deport all those illegals, guess who we still have to deal with? The ones coming from the South to disrupt our progress. You will even see 'elders' from certain communities threatening our government for daring to implement security laws. I made a thread about this. We are simply not compatible with certain groups of Somalis because their own elders don't respect laws.

Quiet as it is kept, I doubt LaasCaanood actually suffered from deporting Southern Somalis. It's not just about a culture and linguistic clash, it's about the fact that terrorists and other criminals exploit poorer communities.

They should've never been let in the first place. Especially in large numbers. Anyone with half a brain would have seen this being a major security problem.

At this point, deport every damn foreigner. Why are we acting as advanced economic nation to allow this madness?

They use Oromo for farm work and other labour. I saw them in Eyl of all places.
When we don't have ajnabi we have Southerners and Isaaq (waiters/waitresses) doing the work. Dadkeena waxbaa ka khaldan.

Puntland should not trust foreign 'reporters', they could very well be giving intel to the terrorists. I want to say more but you can all understand waxaa ula jeedo.

If the terrorists start to make gains soon, you know why.
Exactly.

Or they will twist things and propagandise the situation so that it can be used to justify foreign troops being send to Puntland.

Western reporters in particular can never be trusted to tell the truth. They’re often spies working to further the interests of their governments.
