Someone should correct President Said A. Deni. Daesh terrorists' settling in Cal Miskaad is partly due to the neglect and lack of investment from the government of Puntland. Hopefully, Puntland govt leaders will prioritize it this time and build a highway through the maintains.

UK doctor joins Puntland medical team treating soldiers injured in ISIS fight
Mogadishu (HOL) β Dr. Mohamed Abdullahi Hassan, a Somali physician practicing in the United Kingdom, has travelled to Somalia's Puntland region to support local medical teams treating soldiers wounded in battles against Islamic State militants in the mountainous Al Miskaad region.
Is this not a big safety hazard travelling up the mountain in one large line with lights in the middle of the night, that can easily expose you to mortar fire.
That show everyone how ISIS became weak.
Latest intel suggests Phase #3 is drawing to a close with approx. 300+ heavily armed fighters surrounded in Mirale caves. They will not surrender, but fight to the death.
