All Somali regions are dependent on foreign help, and we will continue to be dependent on them as long as we just ship livestock. Puntland should start to diversify its economy and not fully rely on aid like the rest that I agree with.

the parliament is being built to mark our territory. this if done will secure the region for us or atleast make us gain traction in securing it

Don't worry bro, Somaliland will take over that town before it happens even if they finish the building it will have been for nothing.

In the coming 2+ years, we will have more manpower and soldiers throughout the country. Our government fails in some ways but military-wise we will be stronger than ever.

Courtesy of UAE, even if they don't arm SL soldiers with high-grade weapons we will still have decently equipped and well-trained troops in larger numbers than before.

@SirLancelLord Think of it like this, look at the whole Tukaraq situation. Somaliland doesn't have to obey the IC but they still do and stay still in Tukaraq. They actually did push the line forward a little when PL troops were protesting in Garowe Airport.

What can we expect from SL in the coming years when it comes to their military? Larger numbers, decent equipment and more frequent military operations in eastern Somaliland.

If you don't believe me check UAE history of training soldiers in their similar base in Assab, they illegally trained and armed upwards to 10000 Yemeni and Eritrean soldiers and helped out Eritrea military overall also while the arms-embargo was active.

With Somaliland it's actually much easier, the competition SL has is badly equipped PL troops(SL troops have slight edge). Realistically they don't even need to be trained and equipped with new and higher-grade weapons but only in numbers with decent equipment which SL can buy itself.

Expect more stability to come bro, in 5 years I can see SL locking down the entire border if not even earlier.
