You realize they have a firing range of 15-21km right.

Just to put into perspective.
Tukaraq is 50km away from Laascaanood.
And tukaraq is 81 km Away from Garowe.

However Gambadhe is 20km away from Tuqaraak.

Every person with an ounce of intellect knows that Mudug will merge with Galmudug as the constitution of Somalia states (2gobols or no state), reer Galkacyo are witnessing that in reality when they see every morning Galmudug joint forces patroling their area, as for Puntland they know that in order to have peace with its southern neighbour it needs to relinquish that small northern portion of Mudug that it's holding out of qabyaalad.

Galmudug is for all inhabitants of Galgaduud and Mudug Thus Cumar Mahmoud is part of it, at least Faroole knew and supported that fact.

Federalism will not work in Somalia unless puntland stops claiming lands out of qabyaal.
