Isn't it up to the Central Bank Executive to set up the requirements needed in the currency not just go all Fowdo and tell people to submit designs?
What should the currency represent well obviously people not damn animals or nature or are animal and nature more important then your people, what a bunch of low.lives.
Imagine how your people will feel in thousand years and find relics and see animals and nature only listed, that will speak volume about that people worth

It's an outdated currency discontinued and was only suitable during a time when global commonwealth was poorer the shilling was worth 1 unit split 20 ways inside a single pound. It's basically worth 5% of 1 pound or 5 pence or 5 cents

I think their tired of waiting for Mogadishu to carry out its 4 designated undisputed tasks(currency, immigration, foreign affairs, national defence), all tasks which are completely absent or totally dysfunctional. It's 98 all over again, they waited 8 years then and since 2012 once constitution was complete till 2024 they waited again 12 years. Time is linked to output and gains(productivity), we ain't sitting losing valuable development time to hawiye.
Our borders are simply unpatrolled and ungoverned internationally leading to oromo hordes to displace us. Foreign affairs is a bloody joke. Currency and National army is totally absent. Yet Somalia is arguing for more federal tasks delegated even tho no local or foreign(hiding out in halane shipping container) shows them any public confidence.
Imagine the stupidity I'm incompetent in my 4 federal tasks but want more state tasks or shared tasks delegated. Yes I know it's shocking mindset unknown to the world and called hawiyenimo.
A currency is needed to stabilise the transaction needs of the region whether yearly, monthly, daily. It needs monitoring and stabilising instruments depending on PL economic policies vs growth or decline agendas or foreign boom cycles vs slow downs. Our private banking arm also need some central bank to set up a reserve accounts for them and instruments to control their cash flow loans to the public around homes or business loans to assist in start up booms.
U link cash flow injections or removal from the market based on market activity(transactions) daily, monthly, yearly and balance it to an equilibrium not more or less or as close as possible. Printing or removing currency without increase or decrease in transaction is what devalues a currency and can lead to inflation or worse deflation and loss of confidence for any investment in the future.

Why don't you actually link the monitoring report since its so easily available instead of this article? Is it because you are trying to hide what the report actually has to say about currency in Somalia?

Vast majority of Somali currency in circulation was already counterfeit:
Central Bank of Somalia (Federal) Printed Fake U.S. Dollars, but you only talk about Gaas printing already largely counterfeit Somali shillings as shown above:
All of this is in the report and it happened in Gurguurte's first term, but let's blame Gaas for all counterfeit notes while your tuug uncle counterfeits god damn U.S. dollars. Cut the cheap propaganda and munaafaqad kid.
