The importance of human capital was shown with the Singapore economic miracle story. A nation with no land or resources yet a first world nation highlighted the importance of human capital. It's even known in the 1960s Africa economy was ahead of Asia as whole while we fell back to hellish situation and Asia became the tigers of the 21st century.
I mean I cry when I know most of the world oil is in Africa and Middle east yet it's European and American companies who own the largest oil companies like Shell. BP, Conoco, Seven Sisters, etc. This all comes down to human capital differences. I want PL experts in every economic field developed and utilised across Africa.
