Puntland should change it's name

We should change our name, Puntland is an ugly name. Let's change it to Dal udug or some other Somali name. Who agrees?

What about changing the name "Somalia " all together?.
The A in Somalia was added by italians and it's the same suffix as Land in english.
An offical name like Dalka Soomaalida would be nice. Even the name "somali republic " was pretty cool , kinda like Czech republic or Dominican republic.
Dal Udug could also be a name for all of Somalia , but it's too different from the name "somali"
Another cool name could be "barbaria" from the berbers mentioned in ancient sources but it may cause some confusion with the north african berbers.

Somalia sounds nice, even though it was allegedly from the Italians, it sounds official and has a flow. "Barbaria" is qashin and Daudug should be a specific region, not a country since we are an ethno-state.

Of course the basis for the name "somalia" is the name of our people so it's technically not a colonial name but just a suffix.
I guess somalis colloquially referred to Somalia as just the land of Somalis.
Somali republic is nice in my opinion, the name itself says our form of state(republic) and our Ethnicity.

Somalia is also an illegal Italian colonial name. Somaliland is the English word for the Italian word Somalia.

Maybe ArdusSowmaal or Soomilalistan will be less colonial
