What is this south you speak of? Koonfur Galbeed? Hiraan&Shabelle? Galmudug? As far as I know all three have lower per capita income than the average in Puntland.

If you are talking about the international aid that is routed through the FGS, then yes, we make sure we get at least 25% of that. The FGS itself gives no money to Puntland, in other words Puntland gets none of Banadir's tax or port/airport revenue. Common hutu myth.

Like any city there are people who are struggling to eat. Somaliland has a problem with income distribution. A few people are getting very wealthy while a large amount of people are poor. Most of them are refugees from Ethiopia.

I sent my udhiya money back home and there was no poor people who would receive it in town. A lot of people are doing good here.

Anyways I meant that the puntland government will go broke without the federal governments aid. They are already bankrupt as it is. I don't see it lasting long without Mogadishu's help.

I do not trust that story made by a Somalilander extremist of the likes such as you, our people suffering in all areas of the country and need all the help we can afford them.

Puntland and Somaliland are the same in this regards, and the poor in somaliland are Somali's themselves.
