Puntland statement on the process of Federalization in Somalia

Who say ssc should be part of somaliland? Ssc should be independent state

Why don't you read the Federal Government of Somalia constitution in how to form new federal state.

It is two or more gobols from 91.

Cayn isn't gobol but a tribal district that isn't even definitive.

Sool and Sanaag both have Isaaq populations so you'll share federal seats and power with them? :lawd:

I wouldn't mind extra seats for reer Isaaq in the Federal government :banderas:

Main takeaways:
a) In (3.1), the most notable of all, it states PL shall operate as an Independent State, till national referendum for the Fed. constitution has been carried out. This should have been done a ling time ago.

b) Fed. is no longer a priority, and instead PL shall focus upon its internal affairs. This I consider a mistake, as engagement is better than vacating the platform for the anti federalist forces.

c) No further engagement with some exceptions till Fed. institutions, and FMSs had been concluded, and met with requirements. PL should play a role instead of leaving it to the Fed. alone.

d) Will renegotiate with the Fed. afterwards in wccordsncr with both PL & Ged. constitutions. It might be too late, and damage done to the Fed. institutions, by time renegotiations have started.
True, if they're not starting negotiations right now, limiting engagement with FGS and focusing on internal affairs isn't a good idea, especially when IMF demands that FGS & FMS should cooperate and finalize agreements on satisfying many conditions that are prerequisite to debt relief.

Brother, 2-gobol requirement doesn't exist anymore.

it was dismantled when Galnus became a state.

I'm also confused, maybe they're trying to cut us Puntland from the cambuulo and dixri rations they eat. Ileen waxba nama siiyaane.

It is as if they do not even think as to the validity, or veracity of what they are spewing, or pause for a second to listen to their own words.

I hear that same argument time and again; in a Xamar restaurant recently, someone made that same argument, and when I asked 'what', he said the money from Xamar which goes to PL. I further enquired, and he said PL gets millions of dollars from Xamar port. Imagine that. Who whispers these fallacies to these people?

HAG has wanted us to be dependent on them for a very, very long time.
I'm telling you, their number one fantasy is subjugating the Boqortooyo, but it will not happen even hadeey indhaha dhiig ka keenaan. What angers them the most, is that no matter what they do, they can't dictate anything to us. That's why they keep regurgitating these lies, it boosts their ego.

We are not going anywhere. imagine leaving these people to the fate of the Somali nation. They would sell it off to the highest bider, and kill its citizens. Someone has to mind the stall - keep a watch over the nation.

The only people we need to watch are the people in Kismaayo, those others are not our children, they're our age-mates and they can handle themselves or sell themselves to the highest bidder, maxaa naga galay?

Has this requirement change been ammended and ratified in the constitution?

Also what's the context behind Galnus.Educate me :francis:

We have a national duty to protect those who could not protect themselves. It benefits us all in the end.

No we don't and that's the problem. This 'duty' delusion. Some Majeerteen people remind me of White liberals that have a need to "civilise and protect the savages".
Why are we patronising these people? If they have no history of self-rule nor a desire to rule themselves now, maxaa naga galay? Dhiiqada haku dhex noolaadaan abidkood!
