Spot on, those are actually civilian transport planes with no dedicated hard points for armaments. They don't seem to even have any electro-optic sensors or radars for basic recon. Seems to be the old school method of binoculars when in the air method. This isn't too bad, but obivously won't do much against those who have basic camouflage.
