Qabil and Somalis in the Diaspora?

Why do the diaspora Somali youth concern themselves with barbaric matter such as qabil? If we're gonna discuss qabil why not do it in a sensible matter. In a way that teaches us about our history, the beauty and horror of qabil? Lately I've been seeing a lot of young Somalis that live in the west dispute horrible opinions about other Somalis just because of their clan?

I think it is mental poverty through our parents, our recent history, we are intellectually impaired

look We, have over the years adapted a flock mentality thinking outside the bubble we created is often met with resistance

Add to that there are academics (somalis and non-somalis) who endorse this nonsense not to mention the wadaads who claim that Allah sanctioned it without describing the context of the sanction

Tribalism in the somali context has become to cite Karl Marx, an opium to the people since it is preached by wadaads, losers in the diaspora and somalis traumatised by the civil war

when Allah spoke about dividing us into tribes for the purpose ''getting to know one another'' , the result was .. the previous warring arab tribes all over the arabian peninsula grew together as brothers, even composing poetry of praise for other tribes .. even at times of war they would push each other on saying, 'look at such and such tribe, how brave they are in fighting.. we need to be more like them!'

Stop using the word tribe. We are not a tribal country. Tribe would mean we look different, have different language and a different culture. We are clan based. One people, one language, one culture, one history and one fucking linage.
