Even though i'm opposed to their life style choices it doesn't negate the fact that i need to deal with them justly if and when i interact with them. I'm also against atheism, christianity , etc but despite this it still doesn't take away the obligation of dealing justly with those who hold this views. Gays themselves aren't a monolithic group as well as some mind their own business but in the current atmosphere where homosexuality is being normalised you've gays & their proponents who are out to get anyone who's opposed to them, this is a fact that can't be ignored. That's why your portrayal of gays doesn't reflect the reality on the ground as it simply isn't the case anymore.
