here is being from the north gives you a certain edge over Somali men from other regions.
Being a northerner can be the deciding factor for a Somali women choosing between two nearly
identical suitors from opposing sides of the Somali peninsula who have the same job, looks, physique etc.
I've seen this play out many times in real life.
