QUESTION FOR THE AJANABIS! Why do you like Somalispot?

I like getting access to a well of information about other Africans; I like being exposed to different points of view; I like the Somali sense of humour; and I like the layout and ease of functionality of the forum.

This is more like a diaspora forum than a strictly Somali one. I guess any ethnic minority living in the West would have a lot of overlap with us. I would like to see other diaspora dominated forums. There is this Kenyan forum, but most of them live in Kenya.

Some people are just shameless liars. Daesh are the khawarij. I am against them, I do not support them and I have never supported them nor have I ever said anything in favor of them.

In fact, at least one once I have posted the video of Sheikh Fawzan saying that they are the party of Satan.

There is no evidence for either claim but people apparently think it's okay to lie about people to attack them. If you're going to make those kinds of accusations, you should have some kind of evidence to back them up or it shows a lack of moral character and a lack of honesty and trustworthiness on your part.

well I'm on Spanish-language social media as well but it's hard to discuss things from an Islamic viewpoint on that part of the internet. I don't like getting flooded with anti-Islam stuff.

I like to try to discuss things from an Islamic point of view so there's that. The other thing is I'm not into eurocentrism. A lot of what's on the internet- it's eurocentric, I mean it mostly represents white viewpoints.

So- Islam. Lack of eurocentric viewpoint, which I find more relatable. Plus I like discussing conspiracy theories and I think there is a segment that shares that interest- I actually think this is throughout the MENA region, I think conspiracy theorizing is relatively more common than amongst white Westerners.
