I’ve only had a few outright racist remarks in my life. Maybe 1-2, from homeless drunks.

But I have experienced subtle racism in every facet of my education and work.

The British excel at subtle, quiet racism.

What was his reaction

It was like I threatened to "kill his family" or something. He bugged out on the highest order, made a whole scenario. Some prick, got the police involved. It got to a point where it had got referred to the discipline and human resources committee. He got 3 demerit points from the uni as it was just next to the checkpoint, 4k camera caught the whole thing. Me, a verbal warning (no record entry or anything) and a minuscule "non recorded" fine, if you understand

Worth it, shut him up for the rest of the term and eventually the points racked up, so he had to leave before he gets expelled from the nation
