Everyones fed up with the economy and the simple fact that Kamala harris was in office not only now, but the past 4 years as vice president (which is even more important when you look at the capabilities of biden). I don't think this is going to have any major impact. Remember when Trump said "grab them by the p*ssy" in 2016. People thought that would end his campaign but it didn't. People thought the insurrection and convictions would end his campaign but it didn't. Trump is pretty much scandal proof at this point.

This is an election that will come down to a few thousand votes in the swing states, with particular focus on PA. Those other incidents you mentioned didn't happen with 7 days to go before the election. They are trying to backtrack right now. Eventually all of this will come back to bite him in the butt and if he loses PA, it's game over.

You never see this level of public outrage and scrutiny against it, but say something about Hatian immigrants or Puerto Ricans, and it's wall to wall coverage about how they are racist and breaking down how much they are wrong for several weeks.

Puerto Ricans as a result were expected to punish Trump at the polls. But results suggest otherwise.

In Pennsylvania, which has one of the nation's largest Puerto Rican communities, Trump did almost as well with Latinos as he did nationwide — and held Harris' share of Latino votes there to 57%, a 21-point drop from President Biden's Latino support in that state in the 2020 election.

And in the I-4 Corridor of central Florida, home to one of the nation's largest Puerto Rican populations, Trump won Osceola County, which has the state’s highest concentration of Puerto Ricans.

Puerto Rican community leaders tell WLRN one reason may be that Puerto Ricans living here in the U.S. mainland hold a negative view of the chronic government corruption and dysfunction back on the U.S. island territory.

"They look back at the island and they see officials stealing right and left, power outages all the time," one Florida Puerto Rican activist, who asked to remain anonymous, told WLRN.

"It could be that the 'garbage joke' at Trump's event in New York didn't upset many of them as much as you might think."
