At any rate, Many oromo clans are Somalis who were assimilated into Oromo. All the good looking segments who look like somalis with zero Bantu features are pure Somalis assimilated into Oromo. You can not hide the pure somali features. Somali looks are unique to Somalis. Let us face it, East Africa Belongs to Somalis and they are the true natives of the horn, the rest are half breeds of Arabs and Bantus like Habashis. Native East African = Somali, the rest, a splinter from Somalis period. Don't mess with us.

If you are Oromo and look like a somali, you are Somali in Origin. This makes half the Oormo who look like somalis Original Somalis. Even your language is a modified Somali and Ormos basically took after Somalis in all aspects. If you are muslim Oromo specially, your religion survived because of the somali warrior spirit who laid their lives down and wealth to defend muslims in Ethiopia. City after City, Somalis took it with all other east african muslim tribes behind them united in kingdoms that made history. Ethiopia to this day fears Somalia and Somalis even though we are splintered politically and have no unified political power. All because of our bloodied history with the Habashi kingdoms. They’re not, stop the otherising of Somali clans, it matters little if they have one oromo bah or sub sub sub group, there’s the Asal group, the nucleus of the clan and it’s Dir, and therefore Somali.

Well-Done, This posting had me tearing up a lil bit ngl Thank you.
The Somali went deep into Ethiopia, the Gurgura trade network went almost as far as Addis, the Futah weakened both Somali and the Ethiopians, and the Hawiye ancestral shrine is looked in Oromia now, the Oromo assimilated a lot of Dir, Darod and Hawiye clans, and those that got out on time migrated either east or south or held the line.
Without Somalis, Oromos would be either all converted to christianity or remained savages. They have to thank the somali legends who led all their cushitic cousins in the holy wars to stop Habashi expansion, habashi rape of Oromo women and Habashi taxation on Oromo. These Oromo kids on here need to read their history and be thankful living in the shadows of somali greats. Also they need to reflect on their numbers today and how they are still useless compared to dozen million somalis who own vast lands in Ethiopia, a good portion of Kenya and Entire Somali peninsula.
