Young Aussies in Eastern Australia (Melbourne & Sydney) love to complain and whine about the housing shortage and how they're expensive 24/7 but a quick look on real estate sites shows ample of properties available for rent in diverse and multi-cultural heavy areas. Those $300 p/w properties in the Western and Northern suburbs often have 3+ bedrooms and decent sized backyards.
I think the Anglo whiners live close to the city in a $900p/w cubicle and all want to live in middle class predominately Anglo suburb where they grew up in which is not cheap and are too demanding/competitive. They don't want to live next to mini Hanoi, Delhi, Middle East or East Africa, areas where they deem as "unsafe".
True or false?
