I just wondered because you seemed to be offended by what these elders said. Actually they are very intelligent here on a neutral perspective. Caare and PL want a war with SL but have to pass Warsan land, thats why SL sent troops to eastern Sanaag. Warsan elders told caare and PL to fuc*k off and that they can't use their land as transit. Warsans like peace more than siding with any party.

I personally think SL is in the better position now. First the threat if he comes again they visit him in qardho. Secondly they verified the authenticity of their threat by sending large troops to eastern Sanaag. Thirdly the Warsan elders speaking against Caare and that he can't use their lands.

Caares only options are starting talks with SL (optimal solution for ervyone he could pressure SL to stop the dulmi he claims to fight against but for this Caare hasn't enough brain tbh) or starting a direct war in Ceerigaabo and Ceelefwayn. We will see.
