Al Shabab simply worked off a little known strategy at the time and revolutionised it to make their signature style for lack of better words. Anyways its not like he was successful in that endeavour (lack of bomb making expertise?) all he ended up doing was taking Hotel Aruba's restroom out of service for a couple weeks and making sure people check under toilet lids for explosive devices.
