Like i said in the other thread the presumption of innocence for Somalis is very important.
Not only the did the Jury find much of what the star witness of the prosecution said false but they acquitted the witness of all the charges like taking bribes and kick backs that they plead guilty to.
So they were essentially making people plead guilty to or testify to doing stuff in exchange for reduced sentences in things they themselves had never done. It fell apart during the defenses cross-examinations.
They also acquitted people of all charges that were operating legitimate companies and was just food distributors. Resteraunts, whole salers etc.
All of this is reported in this segment. The jury was shown photos and video evidence of food being stored, packaged and distributed.
For the defendants who were found guilty, they were acquitted on more than half of the charges.
I am fairly certain that many involved are going to be found not guilty once this reaches appeals court.
Including the current case connected to it that
@TekNiKo posted.
Interestingly enough it has more to do with White Americans gangs than Black American gang culture.
The gangs were created much in response to white gangs that were targeting Somalis and they turned to them to defend themselves from it.

But this was in the early 2000s, gang activity of all types have either stopped or been on a decline since. Primarily out of Somalis introduction into local law enforcement which has provided Somali security for their community through legitimate means.
So they are reporting on old news.
Btw the woman in the thumbnail is Oromo , you can see here name is ''Mekfira'' and they implicated bunch of non-Somalis in this case that was connected to Somalis including white americans who acted heads of the non-profits.
