Theres soo many posts nowadays of u guys being scared of wht some non somali says. Like chill dont panic. Youve been living among them ur whole life and theyve always been like this. Its not somali trolls fault. All you need is POLITICAL representation so they dont try to f with u legally.

You can find videos and Articles of UK/London back in early 2000s of Black people saying similar things beefing us because of our religion and because they percieve we are getting preferential treatment or other reasons. At the same time they beef other communities, it's Somalis that fight back the hardest and don't seek their approval.
I can find studies from 2013 where they collect posts and comments on the internet, and the comments they make is some unhinged stuff. But the conclusion is apparent

It is not a lander vs Somalia thing either which is a division they want to fostrer which is why they bring it up all over this thread. Those people who hate on Somalis don't care wether you are from Somaliland or wether you are from Somalia, it's all the same to them.
When Somalis are under attack they come together to fight back, we unite in support of one another. Thats how it's always been, We are not going to do an Exodus to Somalia and run back like some cowards we are going to fight to assert our rights, simple as that.

Well said. Also in our Census 48% of somalis are under the age of 21 and there was another large influx of somalis between 2010-2021.
However, only our group census was released to the public. I can't find the pakistani census, bengali census, kurdish census, iranian census, jamaican census, nigerian census without doing a freedom of information request. Even then they won't reveal how many of them are using social housing!

Indians are a highly self selected group , it's the only the small minority of Indians that have education and money that immigrate to the united states under HB1 visas directly into the work force. Not the average Indian in India who is dirt poor and lives in slums and can't get access to basic education.
Do you not see what is wrong with this picture? Why are their own people with skills and education leaving to live comfortably in the west while the living standards of their people back home deteriorates?
They are literally draining their own home countries knowledge, talents and resources: India lose 160 billion dollars every year and widening shortage of skilled labor and professionals.
This is the main difference between Somalis and Indians.
Somalis in the west came under a different circumstance and priorities. We immigrate here so a portion of us can either go back or send back to our home country. We don't exclusively drain Somalia, we enrich it by sending back resources.

This is from a study published in 2020, showing that Somali employment in the UK has increased by almost 100% since 1998. It also worthy to point out like this study shows that that the figures don't account for Somalis employed in the ''informal labour market'' which will make it higher. This is mostly our parents generation and older millennials who had to overcome barriers and obstacles it speaks of in the last sentence.
These our stats in London schools and how Somalis are performing well and raising their educational attainment at higher rates. So if we are low IQ and backward , how we outperforming white/cadaan students ?

Living in social housing does not mean you’re collecting social benefits. Many Somalis work and live in council homes, which many white people do as well BTW.
Also, the MP won’t have any clue about social media posts by trolls. I doubt the views of Somali trolls reach parliament. What he is saying is more to do with the political climate relating to a social housing crisis in the Uk and wider fears over immigration. MPs have made similar comments about Albanian crime gangs etc. UK politics is shifting more and this kind of sentiment will become more and common especially as Tory party members try to reach Reform voters.

Buying your council house is the easiest and cheapest way to become a home owner. I know many white people who have done this and rent/sell their council home to move out of the ends. A few Somalis have also done this; however, many chose not to as this also involves interest based mortgage and some don’t see it as important as long as they have a council flat.

No, this doesn't mean you're uneducated. In the Netherlands, the maximum rent for social housing is around 850 euros, and you're eligible for social housing if your annual income is up to 48,000 euros.
By comparison, the average rent outside of social housing is about 1,200 euros. With a median salary of 43,000 euros, why would you choose to rent on the open market when social housing could save you 500 euros a month?

Not everyone has the option to buy their social house. Some of these social houses are rented from private landlords, the ones that you can buy are limited with huge waiting list.
