Regions with the richest Somali culture

Ngl I’m not from either of these places but if I had to choose it probably would be galbeed and SL when it comes to poetry and music and language they hold it down historically till present day what do you guys think which regions are holding it down the most when it comes to the culture

Yeah I’ve seen videos from their on YouTube and TikTok they have a unique culture from the way they dress to the names they keep it super cultural

every region is beautiful and unique. They share a lot of history. Sadly Somalis are throwing it all away over surnames

I can accept that reality but one must argue that this is a form cultural erasure. Northern dhaqaan and music is being upheld and diffused whilst southerners and their culture is being washed away and they’re expected to transform into standard northern Somalis. I want that barrier kept in place. No one should become something they aren’t.

When it comes to somali culture its has to be Djibouti (Sitti) ciyaar dhaqameed Xeer,Folk stories,etc even when you look at our names 90% only have asal somali names.
