Report this anti-Somali “joke”

Two things can be true at once I get what you are saying!!!!!! We are allowed to complain about the racism we face whilst having problems in our own community just like every other community on the fucking planet !!!! I’m talking about kids getting bullied in school not cyberbullying.
And I'm talking about kids (particularly girls) who no longer believe but put up the facade in fear of getting disowned and contemplating suicide.

I wonder which is worse..

They definitely can. Well I guess the first step is acknowledgement.

Anyway, I have younger siblings and knowing they're seeing this anti-Somali sentiment online does hurt 100%. Luckily I didn't grow up seeing or even hearing this level of hate and ridicule.

Not justifying, but using it to say "hey you don't like how it feels, right? That's how you guys treat us and 10x worse"
And I and the people I know have never engaged in this behaviour. So what then? I cant call out anti-somali behaviour. How does this even correlate?

If you don't then great, but the majority do or at least turn a blind eye to it

With all due respect, I think you're being a bit silly and naive, walaal. If you don't practice Islam then that's entirely your business and no one genuinely cares except maybe any relations you live with.

What ruffles people's feathers and I feel you're wasting your time with is trying to get people to be accepting of atheistic beliefs and thinking. It's a very religious society, for better or worse, so your recourse as someone who wants to remain within the culture is to either be that quiet adeer who doesn't go to the masjid, drinks khamr and no one really bothers because if he is an atheist he keeps it to himself, or be vocal and in people's faces about your disbelief where, I'm sorry, you're going to get some ugly reactions indeed.

That's not it at all. I could care less about preaching against Islam lmao. Just the fact that we exist and try to be part of the Somali community is enough to attract hostility like I mentioned. How many times have you heard "if you ain't Muslim, you ain't Somali"? Case in point really
